BNP Paribas Asset Management appoints four chief investment officers

Asset manager restructures leadership team to accelerate 2030 strategy

BNP Paribas Asset Management has appointed four chief investment officers across its fund management and solutions divisions, effective 1 September 2026.

The appointments take effect on 1 September 2026, with all four individuals reporting to Rob Gambi, global head of investments, as part of the asset manager’s 2030 strategy.

The firm named Guy Davies as deputy global head of investments and chief investment officer for fundamental active equity. Davies joined the company in 2008 and has held his current equity leadership role since 2016.

Olivier de Larouziere has been appointed chief investment officer for fixed income, having joined the business in 2019.

Laurent Clavel takes up the role of chief investment officer for multi-asset following the acquisition of AXA IM in 2025.

Robinson Rouchie becomes chief investment officer for systematic and quantitative investments, having previously served as chief of staff to the chief investment officer since 2020.

Rob Gambi, global head of investments at BNP Paribas Asset Management, said: “These appointments represent a significant milestone.
