Amundi and ICG launch inaugural evergreen fund for wealth market

Amundi and Intermediate Capital Group (ICG) have launched Amundi ICG Global Private Equity Secondaries, an evergreen strategy targeting wealth investors across Europe and North America.

The evergreen product gives private wealth clients access to ICG’s limited partner (LP) secondaries strategy, investing in diversified private companies across both regions.

The fund has already deployed capital into its first portfolio of US and European assets.

The strategy focuses on established private equity-backed companies to provide immediate exposure to existing portfolios, higher cash flow visibility, and long-term capital growth potential. Investors can access monthly subscriptions with potential quarterly redemptions, subject to fund limitations.

The launch follows strong growth in the LP secondaries market, where transaction volume reached £90bn (€107bn) in 2025, reflecting a 15% average annual growth rate over the past decade.

Oliver Gardey, co-portfolio manager at ICG, said: “We are delighted to launch this product, which offers wealth investors access to ICG’s LP secondaries institutional quality investment strategy.”

Ryan Levitt, co-portfolio manager at ICG, added: “We believe this product has a meaningful role to play in certain individuals’ portfolios, providing immediate exposure to a highly diversified set of market leading private equity-owned businesses in the US and Europe.”
