Vespa Capital offloads digital and research agencies to UNRVLD

The undisclosed deal marks a complete exit for Vespa Capital, following its initial management buyout in January 2022

Private equity firm Vespa Capital has completed the sale of Digital Technology Advisory Group (DTAG) to digital experience company UNRVLD for an undisclosed sum.

The divestment completes a full exit for Vespa Capital from its initial January 2022 management buyout of the group from Cello Health.

The deal encompasses global research consultancy 2CV and brand strategy specialist The Value Engineers. It follows the August 2025 carve-out of customer communications division Signal Agency to Broadridge Solutions.

The acquisition represents a continuation of the buy-and-build platform strategy for buyer UNRVLD, which receives backing from growth capital provider BGF alongside acquisition debt facilities secured from Barclays.

2CV chief executive Chris Oatey and The Value Engineers chief executive Fleur Horner will join the UNRVLD executive committee.

David Elms, former chairman of DTAG, said: “This is a very positive outcome for 2CV and TVE, their high calibre teams and blue-chip client rosters. Both businesses have a long history, excellent brand reputations and deep sector expertise; joining UNRVLD sees them combined with a growing and well-capitalised group from which to build their next chapter.”

Dan Berry, chief executive of UNRVLD, added: “TVE and 2CV give UNRVLD the evidence and judgement which complements our offer for large enterprises. This combination allows us to offer a holistic approach to delivering the intelligent experiences of tomorrow.”
