Semcap leads minority growth investment in Healf

The London wellbeing platform reached £100m revenue run-rate ahead of international expansion

Private equity firm Semcap Beauty and Wellness has led a minority growth investment in Healf, a London-based personalised health platform, to fund its expansion into international markets.

While terms of the transaction were not disclosed, the growth equity round includes participation from institutional co-investors Pentland Ventures, Ami Capital, IRIS, Active Partners, Sequel and Dara5. A secondary angel syndicate featuring high-net-worth individuals and professional athletes also backed the round. Financial advisors and legal counsel for the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 2020, Healf provides personalised wellness recommendations by combining diagnostic blood biomarkers, wearable technology data, practitioner guidance and targeted product curation. The business recently expanded into Germany, marking its first operational footprint outside the UK market.

The company reported that it has surpassed £100m in annualised revenue run-rate while operating with fewer than 100 employees. The business was also ranked first in the 2026 FT1000 index of Europe’s fastest-growing companies, though audited full-year turnover figures were not published alongside the announcement.

Vasiliki Petrou, managing partner of Semcap, said: “The team has built a trusted consumer platform with a clear vision for where personalised wellbeing is heading. They combine strong execution with a deep understanding of the consumer, and that’s exactly the kind of high-growth platform we’re looking to partner with at SEMCAP Beauty and Wellness.”

Lestat McCree, chief executive of Healf, added: “Wellness has a decision problem, not a product problem. There’s more noise, more opinions and more options than any one person can ever hope to make sense of, which makes finding what works for your own wellbeing more challenging than ever.

“This investment allows us to build on the trust we’ve already earned and continue developing a more personalised approach that helps people make better decisions about their health.”
