Palatine Growth Credit has provided a £2m growth credit facility to digital care management platform Log my Care.
The non-dilutive debt facility allows the B2B software-as-a-service provider to fund artificial intelligence feature enhancements without issuing equity or diluting existing cap table members.
Log my Care last raised equity capital in a £3.25m Series A round led by Mercia Ventures in March 2023, following an initial £1.2m seed extension in 2021. The growth credit deployment extends the company’s operating runway as it expands its AI-driven care plan tools and risk prediction models.
Founded in 2017, the company holds NHS Assured Supplier status and supplies complex care software to more than 1,000 UK healthcare providers managing 30,000 service users.
The credit facility coincides with an executive restructuring at the business. Founder Sam Hussain has stepped down as chief executive to become founder director, with former Zest chief executive Matt Russell taking over executive leadership.
The transaction represents a further deployment for the Palatine Growth Credit Fund, which closed in 2024 to target growth debt opportunities in technology businesses based outside London.
Ryan Sorby, partner and head of the north at Palatine, said: “Log my Care is exactly the kind of business that Palatine likes to work with. The team has been on a fantastic growth journey so far, while also staying true to their principles to enable care workers to do their job more effectively and to ensure high quality benefits to those most vulnerable in society.
“The Log my Care product makes it easier to develop comprehensive care plans while also helping to ensure good quality levels of care. We look forward to seeing what the coming years have in store.”
