European mid-market private equity firm Inflexion has made a minority investment in Salto Systems through its Partnership Capital III fund.
Inflexion joins as a lead minority investor, alongside a group of new and reinvesting shareholders.
Salto designs and manufactures electronic access control technology, specialising in smart wireless e-locks. The business operates through three complementary brands including Salto, Gantner and Vintia, serving more than 15,000 customers across 160 countries, spanning commercial, hospitality, residential, education and critical infrastructure end-markets.
The business currently employs 1,850 people across 50 global offices and aims to expand globally through organic growth, acquisitions and smart-access technology. The company said Inflexion will provide a strategic network and sector support within its next phase of growth.
